Largest Webcam Studio in Russia Closed in Yekaterinburg

In Yekaterinburg, law enforcement agencies liquidated the country's largest webcam studio, where models fulfilled paid requests from clients online.

Criminal investigation operatives, together with public activist Dmitry Chukreyev, conducted a raid on a building at 35 Geroev Rossii Street. According to them, this housed Russia«s largest studio for webcam broadcasts. Entry was possible via an intercom equipped with a facial recognition system.
The studio had 11 separate rooms, each assigned to one of the girls.

Inside the premises, 11 equipped rooms were found, containing nude women aged 18 to 50. They conducted paid online broadcasts, fulfilling various client wishes, including the use of sex toys.
Public activist Dmitry Chukreyev showed how the workspace inside the studio was organized.
Each room was equipped with professional equipment, a camera, special lighting, and a set of outfits for creating different images. According to Chukreyev, this studio had been operating for over a year and was part of an interregional network.
The participants« earnings were high: models received from 150,000 rubles per month (approximately $1,900 at current rates), and administrators from 80,000 rubles (approximately $1,000 at current rates). The studio»s monthly income was estimated at $90,000, which is about 7 million rubles.
As a result of the operation, ten girls were detained and taken to the police department. A lawyer who arrived could not help them. All used equipment, including computers, was seized.
Currently, the issue of initiating a criminal case under the article on illegal production and distribution of pornographic materials by a group of persons with prior conspiracy using the internet and deriving large income is being decided. Organizers of such a business face punishment in the form of imprisonment from two to six years.
