In Tyumen, a schoolboy on his way to classes saved the lives of several puppies and is now looking for a home for them. This happened on October 1. The boy noticed a plastic bag in a trash bin from which sounds were coming. Inside were newborn puppies—they were about a week old. The babies were wet, severely frozen, and barely showing signs of life.

During the New Year holidays, the editorial staff of 72.RU decided to perform a small miracle. Every day we write stories about animals from shelters who need affection and kindness from owners and are looking for a home. Perhaps you are the person who will warm these little furry friends?

The puppies were urgently transferred to the animal assistance center «Red Horse». Volunteers reported that the babies were diagnosed with severe hypothermia. A long and difficult rehabilitation began: the puppies were fed from a bottle every two hours—day and night, kept warm, and monitored for their condition.

Now the puppies have fully recovered, grown up, and become active and playful. By the end of January, they will turn four months old. According to volunteers, by all indications, they will grow into large dogs.

The puppies have every chance to become loyal and devoted friends for future owners. Now, responsible people are being sought for the babies, ready to give them a home and care.

At the «Red Horse» center, they help not only the puppies rescued by the schoolboy. Also living there now is Yappy, who was saved at the end of 2024 by a veterinarian. The woman was driving on the highway and saw a hit dog. The dog was taken from the road and brought to the clinic. The injuries were severe—one leg could not be saved and had to be amputated.

For almost a year, the dog lived in a veterinary clinic, but there was no opportunity to give her much attention. Now Yappy is at the «Red Horse» animal assistance center, where she can walk for long periods with other dogs on a large territory. Despite what she has been through, Yappy remains very active and curious. She runs fast on three legs, loves to play and socialize, and just a scratch behind the ear makes her calm and affectionate. Like the rescued puppies, Yappy is still looking for a home—a person who will love her, care for her, and never leave her.

Previously, we wrote about the dog Belozere, the cats Bulochka, Vanda, Myshka, Nika and Sera. And also about a kitten found in an entrance with a traumatic brain injury, who still has no name. New owners are also being sought for other animals with difficult fates: the cat Korkul and the young cat Vertuta, two kittens rescued from a construction site, the cat Semyon and the cat Sirius, who was abandoned by his owner.
