A cat resembling a Thai breed has settled in the basement of the house at 52 Uritskogo Street. Concerned citizens are trying to find it a home as best they can, but the owner has not been found yet.

Residents noticed the new fluffy neighbor a few days ago.

«The search for the owners has been unsuccessful. A girl who found him in the basement about a week ago (he wasn«t there before) posted in the house chat and put up notices on the entrances, but no one responded,» Natalia Gruntenko, a resident of Arkhangelsk, told 29.RU. — She goes to feed him morning and evening, the cat is stressed and won»t let anyone handle him. We think someone brought him and left him by the open basement.

For any questions, you can contact Natalia directly.

In Arkhangelsk Oblast, they are also trying to save two adult cats whose owner died.

More about animals

See how an 8-year-old cat named Vaska has changed over several months after entering the Arkhangelsk animal shelter. Now he is ready for life in a loving family.

There are many homeless animals in Arkhangelsk, but also many people willing to help animals left without owners. Tatiana Nikulina is one of them. An experienced volunteer, she told how the problem can be solved.

Not everyone can take an animal home, but they help by taking them in for temporary foster care. Olga Tyuryapina from Arkhangelsk did just that. See what kind of little one she sheltered.

But there are also people who treat animals quite differently: a young dog named Rex was once tied up near the entrance and left completely alone. The owner never came. Rex is waiting for his new family.

And at the Severodvinsk shelter for homeless cats «KotoYaselki», they are finding a home for a cat named Denis with a noble coat and azure eyes: he was afraid of people, but volunteers are sure that once in a family, he will start to trust.
