Perm Zoo bunny 'escapes', joins Silkie chickens, stalks goat

‘In Perm Zoo, there«s a commotion: the mother rabbit missed some ears in her litter!’ — that»s how the zoo staff began their post about the ‘escape’ of baby rabbit Jonathan. The little animal got out of its enclosure and went to visit the Silkie chickens, and then started stalking the goat Leonid. We«re showing the video of the rabbit»s antics.
Baby rabbit Jonathan lives with his family in the Children«s Zoo and often goes out for a walk in his large home. Perm Zoo reported that recently the long-eared one ‘escaped’ from his enclosure.
‘Where did the runaway go? To the forest? To the carrot warehouse? No! It«s much more interesting: the baby rabbit, under the guise of being ‘one of them,’ first infiltrated the Silkie chickens» enclosure, and then went to carry out secret surveillance on the goat Leonid,’ zoo staff say.
The runaway was found with the Silkie chickens: he sniffed the birds and even tried their food. The chickens, however, didn«t notice anything suspicious.
‘Situation from the scene: Leonid is in mild shock: what new breed of goat is this? Why so small and where are the horns? — report the zoo staff. — The chickens held an emergency meeting: if he eats grain and jumps, maybe he«s a very large chick? Jonathan: absolutely happy and extremely pleased with himself.’
Perm Zoo warns: if you see a rabbit running around the Children«s Zoo, don»t be alarmed. The little animal won«t run far, especially since keepers are always watching him. After such walks, the rabbits return to their enclosure to eat and sleep.
‘And remember: seeing a rabbit in the birds« enclosure or with the goat Leonid brings good luck,’ joke the zoo.
Earlier, Perm Zoo showed how tropical animals relax in their enclosures while Perm residents freeze in –30 °C (-22 °F).
