Novosibirsk Residents Show Their Abyssinian Cats, Each Claiming Theirs is Most Beautiful

Recently, news spread around the world that an Abyssinian cat from Russia named Darlen Fleur Dalmore Black was recognized as the most beautiful member of the cat family in 2025. The rating was compiled by the World Cat Federation. Novosibirsk residents sent photos of their handsome Abyssinians that could give him competition.
Zeus
Anna says that she loves cats very much and once decided to take one so that her son wouldn«t be bored at home:
«We chose by breed, I realized that I really like Abyssinians. By chance in a shopping center I met a breeder, we got acquainted — that»s how we got our first cat. After 1.5 years, so that he wouldn«t be bored alone at home, I took a second cat from the same breeder.»
Zeus is cautious, always nearby, controls everything, curious
The older cat Zeus is 3 years old. In bouts of tenderness, he can climb on Anna or her son and purr loudly.
Simba
Anna calls Simba her tail, his color is sorrel (translated as bay)
The younger Simba is 1.5 years old.
«The most tender creature in the world. He doesn»t sit on hands either, but as soon as you sit down or lie down, he climbs on legs, chest, head, neck. Actively demands affection, purrs, butts, gently bites the ear and snorts from pleasure. A bit of a hooligan, but with age he has become more careful,« Anna laughs.
Mels
He was 2 months old when taken, now he is 4 months old
Olesya«s pet is named Mels. He is very social and friendly, greets everyone with a kiss. Loves to carry toys in his teeth. He was found on »Avito« — it was a New Year»s gift.
Fedyka
Fedyka excellently catches mice (even flying ones) and enthusiastically plays with caught lizards, notes Yulia
Yulia says that everything started with the cat Fiji, which they took in 2018.
«Then she had a daughter — very similar to a little fox, so we named her Foxy. Foxy was incredibly smart and loved to walk with us nearby, like a dog, which always surprised passersby. And in February 2022, Foxy herself became a mother at our home. So we got Fidel. But we call him simply Fedyka.»
And she adds that Fedyka did not grow up like his mother, but into a perfect apartment cat. He sacredly observes the routine: does not run at night and does not wake the family in the morning.
«Life, of course, makes adjustments. We lost Fiji in 2023. And Foxy, unfortunately, ran away in Altai last summer and did not return. We miss her very much. But Fedyka keeps up the standard. He is the continuation of our cat history, the most well-mannered and intelligent companion,» Yulia emphasizes.
The Siberian woman noted that Fedyka is a good cat who lives his measured life and gives the family his calm cat love.
