Elena and Pyotr took in a mini-pig named Rosa half a year ago. The six-year-old pig has changed several homes: first she lived in a breeding farm, from where she was rescued and taken to Rublevka, then she ended up in a shelter, from where she came to owners from Bashkiria (a republic in Russia). Don«t be deceived by the prefix »mini« in this animal»s name; in fact, Rosochka weighs a whole 45 kg (about 99 lb), and this is still considered not very much for this species.

The video shows the mini-pig Rosa performing tricks and living with other rescued animals in her permanent home.

Life with a mini-pig requires patience: Rosa is stubborn, curious, and not very well-behaved — she loves to overturn trash cans and resists hoof trimming, and also hates taking baths. But despite all this, she is quite smart, learns well, and performs tricks for treats, especially for fruits, vegetables, and buckwheat.

Besides her, a pony, dogs, cats, and a turtle live in the house — all animals the family rescued or took from shelters or from difficult situations, and, despite the diversity, they coexist peacefully.
