Fox cub dashes into Ufa courtyard
A young fox lounged beneath a fir tree before chasing a local dog around.
A fox cub ran into Ufa’s «Sosny» residential complex near the 8 Marta settlement (Ufa, Bashkortostan), either to hunt for a late-night snack or simply to survey its domain. Local residents spotted the red-furred animal and filmed it.
The fox cub lazily sprawled on a patch of grass beneath a fir tree, as calmly as if it always rested there and the place belonged to it. Noticing a neighborhood dog, it bounded after her as if to play and make friends. The dog, however, ran off without paying the cub any attention.
The video’s authors narrated what was happening. At some point the fox grew tired of the intense attention and hid behind a post on the sports playground.
Residents watched in surprise as the unperturbed fox explored the courtyard and playground.
