Fierce but Elegant Cat Matty Seeks Family in Samara
Animal activists in Samara are trying to find a loving home for the cat Matty, who is currently in a cat cafe.
In Samara, animal rights activists are finding a home for a cat named Matty. She currently lives in a cat cafe, where staff describe the purring feline as a calm, unobtrusive, and stately lady.
Matty has a fierce appearance but is known for her elegance and kind nature.
«She is very anxious and reacts strongly to stress. Despite her fierce appearance, Matty is a kind cat; she would gladly become a member of a family that allows her to live in a calm environment, loves and understands her. Matty does not like to socialize with other cats, which makes it hard for her to express herself in the cat cafe,» volunteers said.
The cat cafe shares photos showing Matty«s unique features, including her prominent ears.
Matty will be an excellent companion and a wonderful friend, assure the temporary caretakers of the gray beauty.
«This sincere cat is ready to endlessly show her love and receive care. She is now about 9 years old. She is litter-trained, vaccinated, spayed, treated for parasites, and tested for major chronic viruses,» they say at the cat cafe.
Animals are not given away from the cat cafe arbitrarily, but under a responsible ownership agreement.
A responsible ownership agreement for an animal is a document regulating the transfer of a pet from a previous owner (or volunteer) to a new one, recording obligations for proper care, health, maintenance, and a ban on cruel treatment. The document ensures the animal«s safety and defines the responsibilities of the parties. Volunteers/previous owners often include clauses for unobtrusive tracking of the animal»s fate. If a new owner cannot keep the pet, they are obligated to return it, not abandon it.
