The cat Kulema, who was going to be left at a farm in Osenets, has found a home. A woman from Perm took her in as a second cat. We recall Kulema«s story and tell how she is settling into her new place.

59.RU was told about Kulema by animal rights activist Gulnara. She shared that the five-year-old cat lived in an apartment until her owners« child developed an allergy. The former owner gave Kulema to her sister in the village, but the entire summer the domestic cat spent outdoors—she wasn»t allowed into the house.

“A woman called me and asked for help in placing the cat, because she needed to take her somewhere, but couldn«t take her home due to her grandson»s allergy,” Gulnara explained to us. “The cat lived outdoors all summer. Now, when it got cold, the cat cries and asks to come into the house, but she isn«t let in, because a cat isn»t needed in the house.”

Literally a couple of days after our publication, on September 26, Kulema was taken by a woman from Perm named Tatyana. We contacted her to find out how the cat is doing now. Tatyana told 59.RU that she learned about Kulema from a message on VKontakte and decided to take her in. The woman shares that the cat is settling in quickly. Now she is called Kuma and isn«t even scared by the hissing of Tatyana»s second cat.

“To my surprise, she settled in quickly, even though she had to endure so much. And even Tuchka«s hissing doesn»t scare her. The cat turned out to be smart, she immediately started using the litter box. Now she eats and drinks from her own bowls and from Tuchka«s. And she lies down in the same places as Tuchka. That is, she shows that she»s the boss here too,” says Tatyana.

Earlier we wrote about how in Perm they are looking for a home for the good-natured cat Veniamin—he was bitten by a dog.
