"Understanding Officers": Where and How Makan Will Serve – Former Soldier's Account
Among the readers of UFA1.RU was a former soldier who served his conscription in the same battalion where rapper Makan was assigned. Recall that today the artist arrived at the separate operational division named after Dzerzhinsky.
According to subscriber Danil B. of our Telegram channel, he himself served there from 2022 to 2023. First, there was 2–3 months of training, after which the command determined which unit the soldier would be sent to.
«He will be very lucky if he ends up in either the fifth, fourth, or medical unit; it»s easy to serve there, but in other regiments it will be tough for him,« Danil told UFA1.RU. »Daily drill, and every morning they will sing the Russian anthem. In other troops, that«s not the case. As I say now, but back then in the division, even on weekends, they slept until evening, and if lucky, they could even go to bed at 8 p.m., not at 11 p.m. like everyone else.»
According to the former soldier, they start enforcing the military charter more strictly in the division when they learn about an upcoming inspection. E
«He will face a lot of PHD (park and household day, dedicated to cleaning premises and maintaining equipment – editor»s note), and he will have to learn the charter. He will spend time either as an orderly or on duty – sometimes not sleeping for whole days. Constantly going to the shooting range, at all concerts and holidays he will be on detachment in Moscow, on New Year«s he will also be on duty. If Makan ends up in the second regiment, then perhaps we will see him on Red Square on May 9,» our reader says.
The most difficult and responsible day for the fighters of this battalion, as Danil says, is when the «Red» signal is received – for practicing drills on protecting the population from attacks. In fact, they can be announced suddenly for the soldiers – at any time of day.
«There they will teach him how to properly bandage and rescue the wounded under different conditions, assess the situation during a threat,» Danil says.
But even at other times during service, the slightest disobedience will lead to a reprimand – for the third violation, there is a threat of being sent to a penal battalion.
«However, on holidays, they give out chocolate, allow sleeping, watching TV, and even moving freely around the unit. In other places of service, that»s not the case. The officers there are understanding, they don«t nitpick, they»re cheerful, so I think he will like it, I didn«t even want to leave, I really liked it there,» our reader recalls.
According to him, in the army he learned a lot about military tactics and calculations, as well as handling weapons, but in civilian life these skills were not useful to him. Moreover, after finishing his service, Danil works at a military enterprise.
«Mostly, there [in the army] they teach patience,» Danil concludes.
The Rosgvardiya (Russian National Guard) also noted that in this battalion, many famous personalities served in various years – in particular, the governor of Moscow Oblast Andrey Vorobyov, the president of Sberbank Russia Herman Gref, as well as Russian actors Andrey Chubchenko and Anton Makarsky.
