Flights will be operated once every 12 days on Boeing 767 aircraft, configured with 336 seats in the economy class cabin. The program is scheduled until the end of the winter season.

Kirill Vereshchinsky was the first to check in for the flight. He is from Novorossiysk and flew on vacation with his family. As per tradition, Kirill was presented with branded souvenirs from Sochi Airport. For young passengers, tasty surprises were prepared — gingerbread cookies with Sochi Airport and airline logos, as well as children«s board games from the carrier company.

It is noted that Azur Air had not operated flights on this route since April 2025. In total, last year over 43,000 passengers were transported from Sochi to Phuket, and Thailand became one of the most popular destinations for tourists from southern Russia.

“The continuation of the flight program to Phuket has been long-awaited news for residents of our region, and the 100% load factor is a vivid indicator of how in-demand this route is, which connects our region with a tropical paradise,” said Alexei Komarov, managing director of Sochi International Airport.

Tickets for the flight cannot be purchased separately, but only as part of a tour to Thailand.
