January 21 in Rostov Oblast will see continued warming, with air temperature approaching zero. This is reported by the Rostov Hydrometeorological Center.
In Rostov, it will be cloudy with clearings and no precipitation. Morning fog and daytime frost are expected. The wind will change direction from northern to western and south-western at speeds of 6–11 m/s. Daytime temperatures are forecast from -3 to -5 °C (23 to 27 °F), dropping to -9 to -11 °C (12 to 16 °F) at night.
Across the oblast, cloudiness with clearings is also predicted, with possible light snow in some areas, along with morning fog and daytime frost. Winds will be similar to those in Rostov. Daytime temperatures will range from -5 to -10 °C (14 to 23 °F), reaching up to -2 °C (28 °F) in the south. Overnight, temperatures will fall to -6 to -11 °C (12 to 21 °F), with clearings bringing lows down to -16 °C (3 °F). In northern districts, thermometers may plummet to -20 °C (-4 °F). Black ice will persist on roads.
