Strongest Winter Frosts to Hit Central Russia

In Yaroslavl Oblast, temperatures are set to drop sharply. This conclusion is drawn from the forecast by experts at the Fobos Center for Central Russia. According to their data, the temperature will decrease by the end of the week.

«The strongest frosts of this winter are coming to Central Russia. In Moscow today, light snow is possible with temperatures around −4°C (25°F), but from tomorrow, snow clouds will disperse and cooling will begin. By the end of the week, daytime temperatures will be −12 to −15°C (10 to 5°F). This temperature background is 8–11°C below normal,» said Fobos.

According to the service Weather 76.RU, on the night of January 22 in Yaroslavl Oblast, temperatures will drop to −12°C (10°F), with light snow until morning. During the day, −14°C (7°F), cloudy but without precipitation.
