A magnetic storm of level G3, meaning strong, is possible.
«In the vicinity of Earth, for the first time in two solar cycles, a radiation storm of level S4 has begun. The flux of solar protons has exceeded 10,000 units! For the first time in the last two solar cycles, a radiation storm of level S4 is occurring near Earth,» the Solar Astronomy Laboratory«s Telegram channel reported on the night of January 20.
Meanwhile, the geomagnetic situation is expected to be calm on January 22. However, solar flares could change the forecast at any moment. The next magnetic storms are forecast for January 26 and 27.
Earlier, Novosibirsk doctors discussed whether meteodependency (sensitivity to weather changes) actually exists and what can help with poor well-being.
