Sochi, after a brief period of sunny days, is expecting rain again. Precipitation is forecast for the resort as early as Friday evening, intensifying on Saturday. Snow will fall in the mountains. On Sunday, the rain will begin to weaken, and the next week will bring sunshine.

January seems to be changing its mood. Warmth will cautiously begin to return to the resort. If this morning in Sochi it was +1°C (34°F), by evening the air will warm up to +10°C (50°F), and there will be no more night frosts. The thermometer will not drop below +6°C (43°F) after sunset.
Warm air masses will affect the sea conditions. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) has issued a storm warning.
