Snowfalls not for everyone: Bashkortostan's weekend forecast

In Bashkortostan, after a period of frost, air temperatures have started to rise, but at the same time, a snow cyclone is approaching the republic. However, the precipitation will not cover the entire region. Here«s the weather forecast for the end of the week—from January 30 to February 1.
Today, Friday, Bashgidromet (the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Service) forecasts temperatures from -3°C to -8°C (27°F to 18°F). Snowfalls are expected in the republic«s northern districts, heavy during the day with wind.
«In some areas, wind gusts of 15–20 m/s. On the roads—snowdrifts, packed snow, and ice,» the forecasters warned.
The southern part of Bashkortostan will get by without significant precipitation. The wind is moderate from the south and southwest, and in some places also gusting up to strong levels.
The weekend will start almost the same way. On Saturday, January 31, the picture is nearly identical. In the north—snowfalls, blizzard; in the south—no precipitation. Air temperatures at night will be from -6°C to -11°C (21°F to 12°F), dropping to -16°C (3°F) during clear spells, and during the day from -3°C to -8°C (27°F to 18°F).
On Sunday, February 1, light snow is expected in parts of the republic (now across the whole territory), with up to moderate snow in the northwestern districts. The wind is also mostly moderate, gusty in places. Air temperatures at night will range from -6°C to -11°C (21°F to 12°F), dropping to -16°C (3°F) during clear spells, and during the day will warm to an interval between -3°C and -8°C (27°F to 18°F).
