Snowfalls Expected in Arkhangelsk Oblast: Sunday Weather Forecast
The Northern Hydrometeorological Service forecasts snow and blizzards in Arkhangelsk Oblast, which may require road clearing.
On Sunday, January 25, it will be snowy in Arkhangelsk Oblast: meteorologists warn of light precipitation, and in some areas, there will be a blizzard.
‘In some places, light snow; in the northern half of the oblast, light, in some places moderate snow. In some areas, blizzard, ice and frost deposits,’ reports the Northern Hydrometeorological Service (UGMS).
In the oblast, the weather will be cloudy with clearings. Wind western and southwestern 4-9 m/s, with gusts up to 14 m/s in some places. Temperature at night -7 to -12°C (19 to 10°F), with clearings down to -20°C (-4°F), during the day -5 to -10°C (23 to 14°F).
