Meteorologist Predicts Cold Snap and Snow for Rostov

Frost will return to Rostov at the end of this week. Meteorologist Alexander Ilyin told 161.RU about this, linking it to an invasion of cold air masses.
«A cold snap from the Arctic is expected, an invasion of cold air masses,» Ilyin explained.
According to him, on Sunday, February 1, the air temperature in Rostov during the day is expected to be around -5°C (23°F), and on Monday, February 2, the frost will intensify to -11°C (12°F).
Precipitation will accompany the cooling. In the first two days of February, light snow in Rostov will be ongoing, but with breaks. However, on February 2, it may intensify to moderate.
Precipitation will end on February 3. After that, no precipitation is forecast for the next 5-6 days.
As reported by 161.RU, a warm spell came to the Rostov region in the last week of January. In most of the territory, thermometers showed above-zero temperatures during the day. The warming led to icy conditions.
