On Friday, January 23, the Ryazan region is expected to see a drop in the average daily air temperature by five degrees Celsius (nine degrees Fahrenheit) or more, according to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS).
Rescuers urged Ryazan residents to exercise caution and minimize time spent outdoors.
‘If you become involved in or witness an emergency, call firefighters and rescuers at 01 for landlines, 101 for mobile phones, or the unified emergency number 112,’ the department reminded.
