Cold Snap in Rostov-on-Don: Frosts to Reach -11°C

At the end of this week, frost is expected to return to Rostov-on-Don. Meteorologist Alexander Ilyin linked this to the invasion of cold Arctic air masses.
«A cold snap is expected from the Arctic, an invasion of cold air masses,» the specialist explained.
According to his data, on Sunday, February 1, the daytime air temperature will be about -5°C (23°F). On Monday, February 2, it will cool down to -11°C (12°F).
Along with the frost, precipitation will come to the city. On February 1 and 2, light snow will fall almost continuously, but with breaks. On the second day of the month, moderate snowfall is possible.
From February 3, precipitation will cease, and no snow is expected for the next five to six days.
Recall that in the last week of January, a warm spell with positive daytime temperatures was observed in the Rostov region, which led to icy conditions.
