Traffic Police Urge Magnitogorsk Drivers to Avoid Travel in Severe Frost

On Wednesday, January 21, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Magnitogorsk recommended that drivers limit trips out of town during the abnormal frosts that are approaching the region. The GAI published phone numbers and promised 24/7 assistance. If necessary, car owners will be helped with calling a technical service or tow truck.

«In connection with unfavorable weather conditions, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Magnitogorsk recommends limiting travel outside the city, and if possible, postponing intercity trips to more favorable days,» is stated in the GAI message.

Those who find themselves in a difficult situation on the road are advised to call the 24/7 duty unit numbers 8(3519)20-90-13 and 20-90-14. The GAI promised assistance and help with calling a technical service or tow truck if necessary.

For emergency help, one should call 112.

Earlier, weather forecasters predicted abnormal frosts from January 21 to 26. On these days, the region expects a sharp drop in temperature, light snow, and cloudiness.
