Residents of Lyubertsy contacted the editorial office of MSK1.RU. According to them, due to snowfall, the usual ten-minute wait for a bus has turned into an hour. It is especially hard for those who travel early in the morning. People leave home with a 40–60 minute buffer, because otherwise they risk being late for work, the clinic, or their children«s school.

«This is the »Tomilino Park« residential complex. There are queues at every stop. It»s impossible even to leave the complex. We wait at least an hour. The road is jammed and even minibuses cannot get through to pick up passengers,« a girl wrote.

Not only residents of Lyubertsy are in such a situation. In the «Prigorod Lesnoye» residential complex, people wait 40 minutes for their transport. People have to line up in a long row along the road. Judging by the footage, the line of people seems endless.

Another similar video comes from the «Alekseevskaya Roshcha» residential complex in Balashikha. The waiting is made worse by the severe frost, which reached -17°C (1°F) last night.

Mostransavto (the Moscow Region Public Transport Authority) told an MSK1.RU correspondent that the amount of precipitation is currently hindering the passage of public transport. Snowdrifts are significantly impeding the flow of vehicles.

«The motor column has put all vehicles on the route. But the thing is, the snow that has stopped does not disappear from the roads by itself, and this complicates the movement of all transport. Road workers are working, but there is a lot of snow, so the situation remains under control but very difficult,» the department noted.

This Friday morning, problems were not only for bus and minibus passengers, but also for commuter trains. Passengers complain that trains on the Yaroslavl direction have stopped. The carriages were stuck in a minor traffic jam due to a person on the tracks.
