Authorities expect that travel time on the new road from the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) to the Solntsevo–Butovo–Varshavskoye Highway route will be reduced threefold: from half an hour to 10 minutes.

Also, after the opening of the highway, the route of bus s999 will change — from January 24, they will run to the Novomoskovskaya metro station.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that as part of the construction of the alternative to Kaluzhskoye Highway, 5 km of roads were repaired and built, including the main route, an overpass across Alexandra Monakhova Street, and side roads.

In addition, within two years, authorities plan to extend this road to the Voskresenskoye–Karakashevo–Shcherbinka route, as a result of which its length will almost double.

Earlier, MSK1.RU reported on which roads will appear in New Moscow by 2030.
