Krasnodar's Blizhniy Zapadnyy Bypass section fully closed for four hours

The construction site on Blizhniy Zapadnyy Bypass where the overhead pedestrian crossing is being installed.
In Krasnodar, on February 1 from 05:00 to 09:00, traffic and pedestrian movement will be completely restricted on the Blizhniy Zapadnyy Bypass on the section from the «Nemetskaya Derevnya» circle to Srednyaya Street. The restrictions are due to the installation of the span structure of an overhead pedestrian crossing.
For the installation, the contractor will use two truck cranes with a lifting capacity of 80 tons each. The crossing itself is single-span: the width of the pedestrian part is 3 meters, the length is 55.6 meters, and the mass of the span structure is 29 tons.
During the closure, the public transport routes will be changed:
Buses No. 29 and No. 38 will turn around at the «Srednyaya Street» stop;
Route No. 32, when traveling from the Molodezhny microdistrict, will turn onto the Blizhniy Zapadnyy Bypass, bypassing the circle;
No. 75 will go to the Kolosistyy settlement without stopping at the megacenter «Krasnaya Ploshchad»;
No. 83 will start operating after the restrictions are lifted — from 09:00;
No. 121A will run from the Chernikov khutor to the circle in the area of «Nemetskaya Derevnya».
Access to the work zone is possible from the side of Krasnykh Partizan Street and the trade center «Krasnaya Ploshchad», reported the Krasnodar Municipal Center for Urban Transport on January 30.
The work is being carried out by LLC «Vesta» for 376 million rubles (approximately $4.2 million at current rates). This same company built the tram line on Moskovskaya Street. According to the contract, in addition to widening the road surface and building the overhead crossing, the contractor is to install new stops, create sidewalks, storm drains, and also bring in order the sewer networks, power grids, and communication lines. Recall that on this section, the tram will pass not in the center, but on the edge.
According to public procurement data, the work was supposed to be completed by January 31. The contract cost is 279.9 million rubles (approximately $3.1 million at current rates), and the contractor has already received an advance of 55.9 million rubles (approximately $621,000).
Earlier in Krasnodar, on Uralskaya Street, a 200-meter-long overhead pedestrian crossing was built, connecting the Novoznamensky and Komsomolsky microdistricts. It was constructed near the «Pashkovskaya» railway station with exits to Uralskaya Street and Proizvodstvennaya Street.
