Travel along Babushkina Street is the shortest route from the «Morion» technopark to Karpinsky Street. Since early January, traffic has increased there: motorists choose this road to bypass the two-year closure of a section of Cosmonauts Highway, where an overpass is being reconstructed.
The road was closed due to the installation of underground utilities, the «Center for Road Traffic Safety» reported on its website. The passage should reopen on January 31.
An alternative route instead of Babushkina Street is Stakhanovskaya Street and the Stakhanov Circle. Today, January 21, traffic jams are building up there even in the middle of the workday. According to «Yandex Maps,» two traffic accidents occurred there.
