Perm Skier Invited to Olympics Enters Bookmakers' Top List

In January, the IOC invited 22-year-old Perm skier Savely Korostelev to the Olympics. Together with him, skier Daria Nepryaeva will compete. Previously, the IOC invited to the Olympic Games figure skaters Petr Gumennik and Adeliya Petrosyan, ski mountaineers Nikita Filippov, and short track speed skaters Ivan Posashkov and Alena Krylova.
The exact number of races where Savely and Daria will compete is still unknown. However, the coach of the Russian national team, Yegor Sorin, previously reported that the skiers will participate in the skiathlon, skating time trial, and run the classic marathon.
