The administration of Tyumen District has published a draft of changes to the General Plan for several of its settlements. Among other things, it plans to change the designation of the territory between Lermontov and Turgenev streets in the village of Patrusheva. The area was initially planned for social facilities, but now they want to build high-rises there. The project has angered local residents, who are demanding the changes be abandoned.

According to the current General Plan, the plot between Lermontov and Turgenev streets is designated for multifunctional public and business development. For example, a kindergarten and a sports facility are marked there. However, the new plans call for placing a high-rise residential complex here. The public and business zone itself is proposed to be moved closer to the forest along Lev Tolstoy Street.

It is noteworthy that this forest serves as a natural barrier between the new buildings and the Chervishevsky Cemetery. If the changes are adopted and the project is implemented, the distance from the kindergarten to the graves will be only a few hundred meters.

Residents of the district are outraged that they were given only three days to study the project and for discussions. In the opinion of the townspeople, officials are holding hearings formally and have already made all decisions in advance.

Earlier we reported that the Comprehensive Territory Development Program (CTDP) will completely change the appearance of Lesobaza.
