Rent prices have fallen in Omsk. Over the year, the cost of renting one-room apartments and studios in the city has dropped by 5.9%. This is reported by Izvestia. The same situation has occurred in Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Saint Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara, Krasnodar, Perm, Volgograd, and Nizhny Novgorod. As experts assured, this is due to an increase in supply on the market.

According to the publication, last year prices for renting one-room apartments fell by 1% to 31.9 thousand rubles (about $336 at current rates), and two-room apartments by 3% (44.6 thousand rubles, about $469 at current rates). Analysts suggest that rent prices will continue to fall this year.

«By the end of the year, it could be even lower than in 2025, due to the expected increase in activity in new builds and the secondary market against the backdrop of improving mortgage conditions,» said Alexei Popov, chief analyst at Cian.

Earlier, NGS55.RU reported on what will happen with the real estate market in Omsk in 2026.
