Honored Educator Bolot Ayurov Elected Head of Aginskoye

Ayurov had been serving as the acting head of the settlement since November 2025.
Bolot Ayurov, an honored education worker and former council chairman, has been elected head of Aginskoye settlement, according to a January 30 announcement on the Telegram channel of the local administration.
«Following the deputies» voting, Bolot Ayurov was elected head of the urban district and officially assumed office on January 30, 2026, having successfully passed all stages of the competitive selection,« the message states.
Bolot Batorovich Ayurov was born on January 28, 1981 in the village of Khoyto-Aga in Aginsky District of Chita Oblast. He graduated from Zabaykalsky State Pedagogical University in 2003, receiving the qualification «teacher of physics and mathematics». After university, he worked as a physics teacher at Aginskaya Secondary School No. 3, and later as the director of the school in the rural settlement of Amitkhasha.
From 2020, he headed the Council of Deputies of the municipal district «Aginsky District». In 2025, he was awarded the honorary title «Honored Worker of the Education Sphere of the Russian Federation». He is married and has three children.
He had been serving as acting head since October 31, 2025.
On the evening of October 24, it became known that the head of the Aginsky Buryat Okrug, Bazar Dugarzhapov, was released from his position at his own initiative. He had held the post of vice-premier since October 2023. Sources from «Chita.Ru» reported that he did not leave voluntarily but was dismissed due to ongoing repairs of the heating main in Aginskoye settlement at the end of October and the lack of heating in some social institutions since the start of the heating season. The next day, resigned the head of Aginskoye settlement, Andrey Dashin. He twice published posts on social media, stating that regional officials did not provide the promised assistance in the work.
Candidates for the head position were sought since November 2025.
