Yekaterinburg Pile-Up: Trucks, Bus, Cars Snarl Street
In Yekaterinburg, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on Malysheva Street. Among the cars with hazard lights flashing, a truck, a trolleybus, a bus, and at least four passenger cars — an Opel, a Renault, a Mitsubishi, and a Haval — can be seen.
«Malysheva at Komsomolskaya is blocked. Two trucks, a bus, and four cars collided. Although the bus and trucks probably just can»t get through and are stopped with their hazards on,« an eyewitness reported.
According to online maps, a substantial traffic jam has already formed at the scene. The press service of the city«s State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) stated that there were no casualties in the accident.
«Traffic officers are assisting drivers with filing procedural documents. We urge drivers to exercise maximum vigilance and caution when operating vehicles,» the GAI added.
