Onokhino School switched to distance learning after yesterday«s report of a gastrointestinal infection outbreak, the school told 72.RU.

«Yes, the school has switched to distance learning. [How long this will last] is still unclear, until some special [orders],» the school said.

Earlier, rumors about a switch to remote learning appeared in parent chats, but there was no confirmation. Recall that information about an intestinal infection in the Tyumen district became known yesterday. According to the Telegram channel BAZA, 116 children were affected, with one allegedly hospitalized.

In response to the incident, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (SKR) has opened a criminal case, and the health department together with Rospotrebnadzor are conducting an inspection at the school. Later, reports also emerged online about an infection in Chervishevo, but authorities officially denied this information.
