A 16-year-old teenager, who was put off a train by a conductor at Karymskaya station on the Zabaykalye Railway (ZabZhD), will be awarded 4,000 Russian Railways (RZD) bonus points. The passenger has also been refunded the cost of two tickets, TASS reported on January 29.

The teenager overslept and missed his morning stop in Shilka on his way to college. After that, the conductor told him to get off the train and board another one, without ensuring that he knew the station or that he had money. A pre-investigation check has now been organized. The information will be passed to the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

«A service investigation is currently underway at the Federal Passenger Company. An employee of the company contacted the passenger»s legal representative and offered apologies,« the company»s press service was quoted as saying in the statement.

Moreover, the company refunded the cost of the main route and the return ticket.
