Rosaviation Closes Sochi Airport Over Drone Threat

The airport press service advises passengers to check for updates through official channels and respect terminal facilities.
To ensure the safety of civil aircraft, Rosaviation (the Federal Air Transport Agency) has introduced temporary operational restrictions at Sochi Airport due to a threat of drone attacks. Airport services are prepared to resume work once the restrictions are removed.
— Airlines will inform all passengers of any changes. We ask everyone to be respectful of others, not to occupy seats with belongings and luggage, and to give up seats to the elderly, women, and children. The terminal has a free mother-and-child room, and drinking fountains with free drinking water are located near the restrooms, the airport press service reports.
Passengers can track all necessary flight information on the online boards in the terminal, on the airport or airline websites, or by subscribing to notifications in the Telegram bot @AerodinamikaBot, and by carefully listening to audio announcements in the terminal.
