The director of the Bashkir State Philharmonic, Almaz Saetov, has been placed under house arrest. He was brought to court today, January 30. The head of the musical institution is accused under the article «Embezzlement or Misappropriation».

Saetov is an honored cultural worker of Bashkortostan, hailing from the Ilishivsky district (Bashkortostan), and is 60 years old. In 1991, he graduated from the theater faculty of the Ufa Institute of Arts, and then completed training at the Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Management.

Throughout his career, he has headed the Bashkir Puppet Theater, the Mazhit Gafuri Academic Drama Theater, the «Bashkortostan» concert hall, and the Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble.

Earlier, it also became known about the detention of the director of the republic«s state symphony orchestra, Artur Naziullin. This information was confirmed by his institution, but they could not specify the reason for the law enforcement visit.
