The patient«s wife called an ambulance and reported that her husband had numbness in the left side of his body and impaired coordination. The man was taken to the Regional Clinical Hospital (OKB) with suspected stroke. At the hospital, his blood pressure was measured at 265/155, confirming the stroke.

During the examination, doctors found no congenital pathologies, and the wife said that her husband did not drink alcohol or smoke. Later, it was revealed that the patient abused energy drinks because he liked their taste. He drank about seven or eight cans a day and replaced water with them.

Doctors at the Regional Clinical Hospital (OKB) dissolved the blood clot and restored blood flow in the blocked vessel. Over the five days the patient was under observation, his blood pressure stabilized and his condition improved. He has now been discharged for further monitoring at his place of residence, as reported on the social media of the regional clinical hospital.
