Tyumen Man Stages Provocation on 'Survive in Istanbul' Show
Tyumen participant Igor Prokhorov organized a provocation in the «Survive in Istanbul» project to test the reliability of Sergey Stepantsov, a friend of journalist Alena Blin. Prokhorov acts as an informal leader of the team of ordinary people and demonstrates strategic planning skills he developed as a volleyball team coach.
The Tyumen man successfully applies his sports experience to the reality show, using psychological techniques when communicating with teammates. One such maneuver was a planted find — he gave Stepantsov a fake immunity, providing the envelope with a condition of not disclosing the information to other players.
«I didn»t do it for intrigue. But to understand — whether he plays honestly or not. Sergey could destroy the team from within,« Prokhorov explained his action on air.
The plan worked: Stepantsov indeed hid the received bonus from the team. After the other participants voted against him, he himself declared his intention to play a double game. Thus, Prokhorov«s suspicions were confirmed.
In one of the previous episodes, Igor Prokhorov already became the center of conflict. He took advantage of rapper Serega«s misunderstanding of the rules to bring victory to his team, which caused tension between the participants. After the challenge, the Tyumen man tried to shake his opponent»s hand, but in response heard only insults.
Prokhorov«s participation in the new season of the show remained a secret to his surroundings for a long time. Acquaintances thought he left for several months to improve his coaching qualifications.
«Survive in Istanbul» is the fifth season of an extreme reality show where a team of stars and a team of ordinary people compete in difficult challenges for a cash prize. Previously, another Tyumen resident, Andrey Zubenko, participated in the project, who in past seasons almost reached the final.
