New outdoor pool in Yekaterinburg to be open year-round
Soon, «Badenland», like the thermal baths on Uktus, will have its own outdoor pool.
Another outdoor pool will appear in Yekaterinburg. It will be located near the new thermal complex «Badenland», the first phase of which opened in the former shopping center «Komsomoll» in the ZhBI district.
«In two months, we will open an outdoor pool here. It will be year-round, with water temperature of 37°C (98.6°F), fast current, attractions, a pool bar, hydro- and aeromassage. Palms will stand around it, everything will be green,» said the founder of Baden Family company, Yevgeny Kononov.
Guests who have already had a chance to test the new resort in Yekaterinburg shared their first impressions. Some of them do not yet understand how an outdoor pool will fit into the area near the building.
«The thermal baths on Uktus have a good location — surrounded by forest and pines, it feels like you»re resting far from the city bustle. But here, there are car and railway roads nearby. Such an environment is unlikely to be conducive to comfortable rest and relaxation,« shared Yekaterinburg resident Yevgeny.
Earlier, we published a large photo report from the new thermal complex. In «Badenland», three phases will be launched and the facade will be significantly updated. They plan to fully complete the work in July 2027.
Recall that in 2024, another thermal complex — «Yuga» — opened in Yekaterinburg. On its territory, there is also an outdoor pool.
And also in Yekaterinburg, there is an unusual year-round pool that operates on the roof of the skyscraper «Vysotsky».
