Sports Festival «Multfestival» (Ages 0+)

On February 1, at the Luzhniki Olympic Complex, as well as at the Avangard and Bittsa ice rinks, the Multfestival will take place—a winter sports festival for the whole family. Guests can expect relay races with cartoon characters, interactive shows, contests and quizzes, as well as a master class by Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova. You can follow the festival dress code by dressing up as your favorite cartoon characters or using props on site.

The ballet ensemble will perform its legendary dances at the Live Arena stage.

Premiere of the play «The Disrupted Family» at the Maly Theatre (Ages 12+)

Empress Catherine II not only ruled Russia, but also composed plays for palace theatrical performances. «The Disrupted Family» is a lyrical comedy about the Sobrin family, whose well-being is threatened by the appearance of a mysterious stranger. Many will be helpless before his onslaught, but not the lady of the house. The wise woman will try to save the family hearth. The premiere is this Saturday, January 31.

Exhibition «Illarion Ivanov-Shits. Half a Century in Service to Moscow» (Ages 0+)

On January 27, the Shchusev Museum of Architecture opened the first monographic exhibition dedicated to the outstanding Moscow architect Illarion Ivanov-Shits. Among his works are the Moscow Merchant Assembly (now the Lenkom Theatre), the Botkin Hospital complex, the City Maternity Hospital named after Abrikosova, as well as projects for banks, theaters, and residential buildings. The exhibition features over 340 exhibits: author«s graphics, photographs, models, and personal belongings of the architect, many of which can be seen for the first time.

Exhibition «Meanings and Crafts. Through the North to the East» (Ages 0+)

The ROSIZO Center invites you on a journey through Russian folk art: from the Russian North with its cheerful peasant creativity to Siberia and the Far East, where you can see animalistic figurines by Tuvan stone carvers, Buryat jewelry, and unique Nanai robes made from fish skin. The exposition conveys the special atmosphere of each region, and the central hall, dedicated to bone carving from Kholmogory to Chukotka, immerses you in the image of the magical polar night.

Ballet by Igor Moiseyev (Ages 0+)

On January 31, on the stage of Live Arena, the famous ballet ensemble, known for its incredibly synchronous and energetic performance, will perform. The program includes numbers from the cycle «Dances of the Peoples of the World»—the Russian dance «Summer» is the ensemble«s calling card, the Belarusian dance «Yurochka», a suite of Moldovan dances, Greek «Sirtaki», and other works. At the end of the concert, the ensemble will present the legendary Moiseyev «Yablochko».
