Dmitry Panov Films Yakut Horses, Encounters Stallion in Yakutia
Dmitry did not intend to compete with the Yakut stallion
Famous photographer, cameraman, and director Dmitry Panov has come to the Oymyakon district to film Yakut horses. He has already gathered enough material for a small documentary, and he writes on his Instagram (an extremist organization, banned in Russia) that he is fascinated by their beauty.
Dmitry Panov has been filming Yakut horses for a week now, and from a distance—both from the ground and from the air. The photographer jokes that once a stallion came to deal with him—sensing that «another stallion has appeared» near the mares.
Yakutians on social media thank Dmitry for his photos and videos, writing that his shots «stirred the world,» because when you get used to seeing horses almost every day, you forget about their beauty and uniqueness amidst the routine.
