Altai Krai Ranks 27th in Russia for Consumer Lending

Altai Krai placed 27th out of 50 Russian regions in terms of loans issued to residents, according to data from the United Credit Bureau (OKB).

Altai Krai took 27th place among 50 Russian regions in terms of loans issued, NGS22.RU was told by the United Credit Bureau (OKB).

In December 2025, there were two loans per 100 residents of the region. In total, for the entire month, 53.14 thousand loans were issued for a sum of 16.19 billion rubles (approximately $162 million at current rates).

For the entire last year, the lending rate reached 27 loans per 100 residents, and the total volume of loans amounted to 127.90 billion rubles (about $1.28 billion at current rates).

For comparison, the neighboring Novosibirsk Oblast took 10th place. According to OKB calculations, there were 28 loans per 100 residents there, and the total lending volume was 231.35 billion rubles (roughly $2.31 billion at current rates).
