He also emphasized the need to inspect the Yakutsk–Kobyay road for transport accessibility and to plan for guest accommodation and catering. These directives were issued to relevant ministries and the Ysyakh Olonkho organizing committee.
This year, Yakutia«s authorities will allocate 11.6 million rubles (approximately $129,000 at current rates) from the regional budget for the Ysyakh Olonkho festival. In 2025, the event was held in the Neryungri district and attracted 25,000 visitors. Nikolaev highlighted the importance of adhering to sanitary standards, noting that after last year»s festival in Neryungri, dozens of people contracted salmonellosis, leading to a criminal investigation – as previously reported.
