Irina Neboga's ashes scattered over Indian Ocean, buried in Siberia

Two months have passed since the funeral of blogger Irina Neboga, who died from cancer. On her birthday, January 29, her relatives published a post detailing the fulfillment of her last wishes.

«And even though I am now in a better world, I want you to feel my support too. During my life, I wanted to be cremated, and I spoke about this repeatedly in interviews. Half of my ashes were scattered over the Indian Ocean, half were buried in Siberia, at the Redakovskoye Cemetery in Novokuznetsk,» her relatives wrote on her behalf. «The area is still being improved, but you can come now. Just behave normally, not like in the comments sometimes. I love you all, don»t forget me.«
Recall that Irina Neboga died after a five-year battle with cancer. At age 17, she was diagnosed with Ewing«s sarcoma (a malignant tumor that primarily affects bone tissue. — Ed.»s note). After 14 courses of chemotherapy and a complex operation on her thigh bone, the cancer went into remission. However, the disease returned in 2024. She underwent a complex skull surgery, and the cancer retreated again.
The illness struck the girl again in the fall of 2025. It turned out that she had developed metastases again. She did not survive the third bout. We published Irina«s detailed story earlier.
Irina«s funeral took place on November 20. The girl»s relatives invited her followers to say goodbye, and they barely fit into the mourning hall. The girl«s coffin was covered with flowers, and at the head, they placed a painting that she had drawn herself. »I can do anything,« the inscription read.
