Woman gets 8 years 9 months for bra strap murder
The woman was convicted for using a bra strap to strangle her friend during a dispute.
In Donskoy, a court has sentenced a 51-year-old local woman, found guilty of murder. This was reported by the press service of the Tula Regional Prosecutor«s Office.
As the court established, the tragedy occurred on the evening of August 16, 2025. The woman was visiting her 35-year-old acquaintance, where they were drinking alcohol together. During the gathering, a conflict erupted between the friends, which quickly escalated into violence.
During the quarrel, the accused strangled the apartment owner with a bra strap. The injuries sustained were fatal, and the woman could not be saved.
The court found the Donskoy resident guilty and sentenced her to 8 years and 9 months of imprisonment to be served in a general regime colony.
