Woman, accomplice arrested for acid attack on mother of four
The couple was detained in Yekaterinburg.
In Yekaterinburg, 35-year-old Eduard Seredyuk and 27-year-old Ksenia Vladimirova were arrested. They are accused of attempting to kill a mother of four on the order of her ex-husband. Our colleagues from E1.RU reported what is known about the Ural Bonnie and Clyde, who chose acid as their weapon.

Eduard was released in 2023, now he faces a serious prison term again.
In 2015, Eduard was sentenced by the Kirov District Court to 12 years for attempted large-scale drug trafficking (Article 30, Part 4, Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code). He was released after nine years, in 2023 (according to one version, through a contract with the Wagner Group). After his release, he worked at the Wagner Center.
Ksenia behaved in court much more confidently than her accomplice.
A sole proprietorship engaged in construction and installation work was also registered in his name. Possibly to avoid damaging his business, Eduard hid his face in court and walked around with a sweater over his head.
The girl dreamed of a rich life and family happiness.
The would-be hitman was into sports, motorcycles, military-themed channels, «macho» prose, and law enforcement. According to him, Eduard has no wife or children. His education is nine years of school. He turned to crime because of feelings for his beloved and for money.

According to the investigation, it was Eduard who poured acid from a car battery on Alena, the ex-wife of the director of Yermak-TV, Nikolai Yermakov (on his order).

He is now accused of attempted murder committed for hire (Part 3 of Article 30, point «z» of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code). Eduard partially admitted guilt, stating that he did not intend to kill Alena. He also claimed he did not plan to flee or put pressure on the investigation.
To mitigate his fate, Eduard talked about delivering humanitarian aid for soldiers and spoke of his patriotic stance. The court arrested him for a month and a half.

27-year-old Ksenia Vladimirova was also convicted for drugs in 2022 (Part 2 of Article 228.1) but received a suspended sentence (three and a half years), which recently ended. According to the investigation, it was she who connected Eduard (the perpetrator) and Nikolai (the client).
The native of Chelyabinsk Region is accused of aiding and abetting attempted murder committed for hire (Part 5 of Article 33, Part 3 of Article 30, point «z» of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code). In court, the girl did not put anything on her head like her accomplice did, but wore a medical mask. She also partially admits guilt, claiming they only wanted to harm the victim«s health.
«We did not want to kill. If we had wanted to kill, we would have killed,» Ksenia insisted in court.
It is known that the girl suffers from certain mental disorders, has health and relationship problems with men, takes medication, and cannot find permanent work (by education she is a pastry chef). She even volunteered for the special military operation (SVO), but was not accepted. Despite the defense«s arguments, Ksenia, like Eduard, was arrested until March 11.
According to Ksenia, the client complained to her about his ex-wife and assured her and Eduard that for such an attack they could only be charged with causing minor or moderate harm to health (Article 112 and Article 115 of the Criminal Code), which would be investigated (and no one would be caught) by the local police officer. In this way, Nikolai allegedly wanted to «scare» his ex-wife and get revenge for past grievances.
None of them expected such public outcry and a serious charge (attempted murder for hire). Now both hapless hitmen face a substantial prison term, up to 15 years in a penal colony. Both expressed readiness to cooperate with the investigation.
According to the investigation, the director of Yermak-TV, Nikolai Yermakov, wanted to kill his ex-wife Alena, and for this he hired a man and a woman.
The family lived together for 17 years, the couple has four children, but in February 2025, Alena decided to leave due to domestic violence. She claims that her ex-partner repeatedly threatened her, and she even filed reports with the police.
On the morning of January 12, Alena was taking the children to kindergarten, and a man approached them on the stairwell near the parking lot. He called Alena by name, poured an unknown liquid on her, and then fled. The woman suffered injuries to her face, hands, neck, back, and ears, and she was hospitalized. The children, fortunately, were not harmed.
Meanwhile, Yermakov told E1.RU that he was not connected to the attack on his ex-lover: allegedly after their breakup, Alena started dating a married man with a prior conviction. In Nikolai«s opinion, the lover»s wife could have taken revenge on her in this way.
«I loved her very much and would never have done anything bad to her. She is making these claims because she wants to seize my business. I»ve already had searches in another case, they found nothing, and there are no claims against me,« Nikolai explained to E1.RU.
The would-be killers were arrested at the residence of the man«s relatives, where they were trying to »lie low«. Police nicknamed them Bonnie and Clyde, only from our time.
