Traffic police officers in the Dyagilevo district stopped a car to check the documents of a 21-year-old citizen from a Central Asian country who resides in Ryazan. The inspectors suspected that the driver«s license was not genuine.
The man was removed from driving the vehicle and his license was confiscated for examination.
The examination revealed that the driver«s license was counterfeit. A criminal case has been initiated against the migrant for »use of a knowingly forged document«.
He could face restriction or deprivation of liberty for up to one year or forced labor for up to a year, according to the Ryazan Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
