“He’s a good kid!” Father defends teen in Urals murder case
After wounding the woman, the teen was under house arrest but fled upon her death and now faces custody.
In Nizhny Tagil on January 21, a pre-trial restraint is being determined for a 15-year-old teenager accused of attempting to murder a mother of many children. The tragedy occurred in the settlement of Gornouralsky. According to the investigation, the teenager stabbed an unknown woman in the stairwell.
We visited the house where the teenager lives, here is what a neighbor said about him.
The father of the schoolboy attended the court hearing. He does not believe his son is capable of such a crime.
“I don«t know anything about what happened. They came and told me what occurred, I sat down and couldn»t get up. My son does not admit guilt. He was under house arrest — he was at home. Why he ran away — I don«t understand myself. He»s a good kid, played football and hockey, participated in competitions. Normal, not troubled at all,” says the teenager«s father Alexey.
As a witness, a friend of the teenager«s family attended the hearing. She intends to defend him.
“Everyone is writing that he«s a monster, a murderer who kept everyone in fear. Nonsense! A normal kid! His guilt still needs to be proven. Have you seen him? A child, 1.5 meters tall!” declared Tatyana, an acquaintance of the boy»s family.
