Goal is to Sow Panic: Surgut Residents Warned of Threats in Chats

The administration of Surgut has warned residents about threats being spread in parent and teenager chat groups. According to law enforcement, the alarming messages are disinformation.

‘The goal of such disinformation is to sow panic. We ask people not to subscribe to these channels and not to forward the information,’ commented the city hall.

They also added that information about the threat channels has been passed to law enforcement agencies. They are identifying those involved to hold them accountable. This was also written on her Telegram channel by the head of the Safe Internet League, Yekaterina Mizulina.

Earlier we wrote that schoolchildren from Nyagan complained to Yekaterina Mizulina about Telegram channels where they are threatened with alleged terrorist attacks and assaults. According to the head of the Safe Internet League, such resources are created by Ukrainian special services. They are trying to disrupt the educational process and sow panic among children so that they are afraid to go to school.
