A court has ordered a «dropper» to compensate a deceived pensioner from Ryazan, the regional prosecutor«s office said on social media.
The prosecutor«s office has protected the rights of the elderly woman, who became a victim of fraudsters, through legal action.
Under the influence of the scam, the Ryazan woman transferred 85,000 rubles (about $850) to the bank account of a 28-year-old resident of Samara who was acting as a dropper—a person who receives and transfers illicit funds.
