The Oktyabrsky District Court found a 25-year-old Ryazan man guilty of 14 episodes of theft and robbery from stores in Ryazan, as reported by the regional prosecutor«s office on social media.
The court established that from April to June of last year, the convicted man stole products from chain stores in the regional center worth a total of 90,000 rubles (approximately $900 at current rates). The Ryazan resident admitted his guilt and repented for his actions.
The court sentenced him to 1 year and 8 months in prison to be served in a settlement colony.
