Yekaterinburg: Homeless ginger 'elf' cat priced at 700,000 rubles
Barsya has been staying in Ksenia«s gazebo since summer but cannot live with her other cat.
In Michurinsky, a ginger beauty named Barsya has appeared, who is ready to be given to new owners for 700 thousand rubles (about $7,000 at current rates). The kind and affectionate cat really loves to eat, notes the seller Ksenia.
«You can acquire him so that he is dear to you. Barsya is very beautiful, large (10 kilograms, about 22 lb) and kind, affectionate, purring,» is noted in the advertisement.
The cat lacks documentation and has not received parasite treatment or vaccinations.

Barsya has been sleeping in Ksenia«s gazebo since mid-summer. She cannot take him to her home: Ksenia already has a cat, with whom Barsya cannot seem to make friends.
Ksenia set the high price because she believes that free animals are not valued.
The advertisement says that Barsya«s breed is elf. He has no documents, no parasite treatment has been done, and no vaccinations.
«He is a magnificent cat, meows like a kitten, follows us when we come. He really needs owners and love,» writes Ksenia.
The E1.RU correspondent asked Ksenia why she is asking 700 thousand rubles (about $7,000) for Barsya. The answer was simple: «Because no one values anything for free.»
